Jim and Sara have just landed at the airport. Now they want to hail a taxi to take them to their hotel.

Jim: How far are we from our hotel?
Jim:

Sara: About 18 kilometers. We should just grab a cab.
Sara:

Jim: There will be slew of them outside the terminal waiting like vultures!
Jim:

Sara: How much do you think it'll cost for a ride to downtown?
Sara:

Jim: I don't have clue.
Jim:

Sara: I don't think that cabbies usually run their meters from the airport. They usually just charge a flat rate.

Jim: Let's go and ask.
Jim:

Sara: Okay. But I don't want to ride in an old beat- up clunker! Some of these cabs don't even have air conditioning!

Jim: I hear you. Let's ask that one over there. His cab looks fairly new and it's the only one that hasn't had a fender bender.

Sara: Okay. And please tell him not to drive like a bat out of hell. I know that they like to speed and drive dangerously here. I read a warning in one of my travel guides.

Jim: Anything else you want me to say or ask him?
Jim:

Sara: No. Just ask how much, and make sure he knows where he's going.
Sara:
